the lowest food donations.
To combat this trend, Ukrop’s is offering two food drives this month to make giving more convenient for our customers.


Fill-a-Truck For the Hungry Food Drive
Every Saturday in June from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join Ukrop’s, Supervalu and First Market Bank to “Fill-a-Truck” with food for the Central Virginia Foodbank.

• June 27 at Carytown and Colonial Square

 

 

Families After 5
Tuesdays in June, July and August; 5 - 9 p.m.

Enjoy after-hours family fun in the Children’s Garden, sponsored by Ukrop's and Richmond Magazine.

• Grab a kid-friendly dinner to eat in the Cafe or "take out" to picnic tables in the Children's Garden (Garden Cafe open til 7 p.m.)
• Cool off in the shooting jets and gentle sprays of WaterPlay (open until 8:30 p.m.)
• Explore the great outdoors -- climb a 100-year-old mulberry tree, dig in the sand, make a fairy house!

Looking for some fun activities to bring students and families together, all while raising funds for your school? Café Nights at Ukrop's is a way for schools in our community to raise funds for much needed supplies and school-based activities, just by eating at Ukrop's!

All elementary and lower grade schools in the areas served by Ukrop's are eligible to participate in Café Nights. Participation is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

• To sign up for a Café Night, an authorized representative from your school will need to stop by the  Ukrop's Café location closest to your school and fill out a participation form. Schools may participate in up to six Café Nights per school year.
• Café Nights will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5 – 8pm. Only one school may participate per location per night, so be sure to stop by soon and get your school on our event calendar.
• Once your school signs up, Ukrop's will provide you with materials needed to promote the event to your students and their parents, as well as your faculty and administration.
• On your school's Café Night, we ask that you provide a representative from your school to stand near the café register and collect program vouchers and/or receipts from event participants. Purchases made by your school's attendees will be totaled at the end of the night, and your school will receive 10% of that total. Only purchases of ready-made food from Ukrop's kitchen, grill, salad bar and sushi bar will count towards your school's total.
• Within six weeks of your school's Café Night, you will receive a check for the total funds raised at Café Night.
