Where can I redeem fuelperks!?
fuelperks! is currently available only at Ukrop's stores in metro Richmond, Tri-Cities and Fredericksburg.

Ukrop's recently made changes to the fuelperks! program. Will I lose my balance?
No, all fuelperks! earned prior to November 2 will remain in your account. You will have three months after the month in which they were earned to redeem these fuelperks!. fuelperks! earned after November 2 will be subject to the new program guidelines.

 

Earning fuelperks!

How are fuelperks! earned?
Use your Ukrop's Valued Customer card each time you shop. Every time you spend $50 in a single transaction a 5-cent-per-gallon discount is awarded (20 gallon limit).

• These discounts are "stackable" (may be accumulated) as shown in the following examples:
  

Spend $50 in one transaction and earn a discount of 5 cents per gallon.
Spend $100 in one transaction and earn a discount of 10 cents per gallon.
Spend $125 in one transaction, and then $75 in the next and earn a discount of 15 cents per gallon.
Spend $150 in one transaction, and then $130 in the next and earn a discount of 25 cents per gallon. And so on...

• Once you redeem your fuelperks!, your account will be fully depleted.
• During your next shopping trip, you will once again begin to earn fuelperks!
  

What are fuelperks! bonus! rewards?
Now you can earn fuelperks! even faster with fuelperks! bonus! rewards! Look for featured fuelperks! bonus! rewards items in our ad each week. You'll automatically receive a 5-cent fuelperks! bonus! reward for every one of these items you purchase.
Example:
Buy 1 fuelperks! bonus! rewards item and earn a 5-cent reward.
Stock up on 5 fuelperks! bonus! rewards item and earn a 25-cent reward!

Do I have to spend $50 in one transaction to qualify for fuelperks! bonus! rewards?
No. You will earn a 5-cent reward for every fuelperks! bonus! rewards item you buy, regardless of the transaction total.

Do I have to register for fuelperks!?
No. All Ukrop's Valued Customer card holders are automatically eligible for fuelperks! rewards. fuelperks! are awarded by household, not by card, so it's important to keep track of who has UVC cards in your household.

Is there a limit on how many fuelperks! I may earn?
No. There is no limit on the amount you may earn. By using your UVC card, you earn a discount of 5 cents per gallon with each $50 purchase in one transaction and with each fuelperks! bonus! rewards item you purchase.

Do I have to spend $50 each time I shop to earn fuelperks!?
Yes, unless you purchase fuelperks! bonus! rewards items. When you swipe your Ukrop's Valued Customer card each time you shop, Ukrop's will automatically award you with a 5-cent-per-gallon fuelperks! reward for every $50 you spend in a single transaction. A faster way to earn fuelperks! is to purchase fuelperks! bonus! rewards item, which do not require you to spend $50 in one transaction.

Do all items qualify for fuelperks!?
No. Some of the items that do not qualify are:

Can I earn fuelperks! with any method of payment?
Any payment, other than government charge, qualifies for fuelperks!

How do I check my fuelperks! balance?
Your fuelperks! balance will be listed at the bottom of your Ukrop's or Joe's Market receipt. You may also check online at ukrops.com/fuelperks.

 

Redeeming fuelperks!

Which cards can I use to redeem fuelperks!?

• You may only use wallet-sized Ukrop's Valued Customer cards (with a magnetic stripe) to redeem fuelperks! at the pump. Any cards in your UVC household can be used to redeem fuelperks!

If you do not have a wallet-sized card with a magnetic stripe, please visit Customer Service.

When can I redeem fuelperks!?
fuelperks! may be redeemed as early as 30 minutes after you check out.

Is there a limit to the number of fuelperks! I can redeem at one time?
No. Once you choose to redeem your fuelperks! (20 gallon limit), your fuelperks! balance will be depleted so you'll get the lowest price when you fill up.

For example, if your fuelperks! account entitles you to a 50-cent-per-gallon discount (20 gallon limit) and you choose to redeem your discount, you will save 50-cents-per-gallon at the pump.

During your next shopping trip, you will again begin to earn fuelperks!

Where can I redeem my fuelperks!?

Look for the fuelperks! signs at local participating Uppy's BP and Exxon stations in metro Richmond, Fredericksburg, and the Tri-Cities. For a complete list of participating stations included in the fuelperks! program, click here.

How do I actually redeem my fuelperks! at one of the participating gas stations?

• If prompted, press "yes" when asked for your Ukrop's Valued Customer card at the pump.
  
• Insert your wallet-sized UVC card.
  
• fuelperks! discount appears on the display.
  
• Insert debit/credit card (or pay cash inside).
  
• Watch the prices drop.
  
• Select fuel grade.
  
• Start pumping for less and enjoy your fuelperks!
  

Can I carry forward my fuelperks! if I fill up with less than the 20 gallon limit?
No. Once you choose to redeem your fuelperks!, your account will be fully depleted no matter how many gallons you choose to purchase. To maximize your savings, you should time your trip to a participating station to fill up with as many gallons as possible (20 gallon limit).

May I fill up more than one vehicle when redeeming fuelperks!?
No. For safety reasons customers are not permitted to fill more than one vehicle.

May I transfer or give away my fuelperks!?
No. fuelperks! may not be transferred or donated.

What happens if the fuelperks! discount I have earned exceeds the price per gallon of fuel?
When you choose to redeem your fuelperks!, it is possible that your fuelperks! discount may exceed the current price of a gallon of fuel. In this circumstance, the unredeemed difference will be retained in your fuelperks! account until the expiration date.

Example: If your fuelperks! account entitles you to a $2.00-per-gallon discount (20 gallon limit), and the price of fuel is $1.50, following your fuel purchase the 50-cent difference will remain in your fuelperks! account. (Some pumps require a minimum charge of approximately 10 cents; if such is the case, then 60 cents will be retained on the card.)

Do my fuelperks! discounts expire?
fuelperks! discounts expire on the last day of the month following the month in which the discounts were earned. For example:

Discounts earned during November will expire on December 31.
Discounts earned in December will expire on January 31, and so on.

As a reminder, point expiration information will be printed at the bottom of your receipts and is available at ukrops.com/fuelperks.

 

Miscellaneous

May I still use my First Market Bank Market Share Card?

• First Market Bank Market Share Check Cards may be used to earn fuelperks! at Ukrop's or Joe's Market.
  
• First Market Bank Market Share Check Cards may not be used to redeem fuelperks! at the pump.
  
• First Market Bank Market Share Check Cards may continue to be used as payment at the pump.

Why aren't all Richmond and Fredericksburg area BP and Exxon stations in the program?

Ukrop's developed this joint program exclusively with Uppy's, a local, family-owned business. Therefore, only Uppy's stations accept fuelperks! Uppy's either operates or supplies fuel to many stations throughout the Richmond and Fredericksburg areas. Click here for a list of participating stations.

What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
If you discover your card(s) is lost or stolen, you must notify us immediately by calling 804-353-FUEL (3835) or send an email to the fuelperks! hotline at fuelperks@ukrops.com.

To obtain replacement cards, please visit any Richmond or Fredericksburg area Ukrop's.
