Position Responsibilities:

These associates assure that the floor is stocked with fresh, high quality product while providing prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly service to customers.

PERISHABLE FOODS CLERKS in our MEAT department unload and stock meat and seafood products, create attractive displays, ensure the freshness of our meat and seafood products, and maintain a high level of sanitation standards for the meat/ seafood department. These associates deal directly with customers and answer questions on everything from grilling to nutrition.

PERISHABLE FOODS CLERKS in our PRODUCE department efficiently stock and process produce items, maintain high quality freshness standards, and provide prompt and friendly customer service. These associates ensure our fruits and vegetables are always looking great and at their peak of freshness and help customers with questions like how to tell if a melon is ripe or the difference between basil and cilantro.

PERISHABLE FOODS CLERKS in our FLORAL department prepare and merchandise fresh and potted flowers and plants as well as the many decor and party items offered in our Floral department. These associates assist customers in their product selection in a caring and helpful manner, providing thorough product knowledge as needed.

Associates must be able to stand for a minimum of 5 hours and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Many of these positions require proper use of equipment like slicers, bailers, and knives.
