This service will reduce drug interactions, monitor for side effects from the medications, and possibly reduce the out of pocket expenditures for your medications. What is a Health Screening?
It's a schedule day of screenings held throughout Central Virginia in our Pharmacies. Ukrop's Pharmacists or professionals from local health organizations conduct the screenings. Some of these screenings require a small fee and fasting; more information is available at your Ukrop's Pharmacy. Stop by today for a complete schedule of Wellness Days. If our schedule doesn't match yours, talk with your Ukrop's Pharmacist about scheduling an appointment for any of these screenings.
- Free blood pressure check
- Flu and Pneumonia Vaccines
- Total cholesterol including HDL
- Complete lipid profile includes cholesterol, HDL, LDL and triglycerides and requires a 12 hour fast
- Blood glucose to screen for diabetes
